cable ties shouldn't be cut off.. they should be twisted till they break off right at the latching part.. this does two things, it creates a little ball of plastic right at the latching mechanism, that locks the cable tie into place, and it elimiates the razor blade effect... or you can get the special too for them that cuts them off nice and flush.

Did anybody see Rick on American Chopper get his hand all mangled in a drill press? [img]graemlins/puke.gif[/img]
He was wearing mechanics gloves, they got caught in the spinning drill and brought his hand right into it. Chewed it up good before he could hit the shutoff.
Lesson: mech gloves are great, but not around spinning power tools!
