first car was a VW and have 4 more since.
now a turbo nissan is my nice ride.
live in downtown toronto.
the system is simple and all SQ... always looking for audio nirvana... its a far away expensive to reach place...lots of rumors about it but no one i know lives there....

graduated from grade 12 over a month ago
own'd nothign but chevy's from day one, but drive mostly ford's for work...
just a kid in a drug town... not gonna turn to the drug side. i would rather smoke my tires then smoke a joint
been in the car audio world since 04... only been to one comp though. mostly just a hobby on the side

Hi Im Rodney,, 28 yrs old.
Im a computer geek - expelled from all ontario ministry board of education premises in grade 10 (1993) for being bored (running a bbs on a computer lab PC) Long live RIPTerm and Boca 14,400 Modems..
For hobbies I enjoy Car Audio / RC Nitro Model Cars (you thought car audio was time consuming and expensive) / Disk Jockey'ing and I toy in and out of FTA Satalite Receivers and all the nifty ways to make em roll keys
And to close out I looked into getting my OSSD equivelency (Grade 12) earlier this year and they found my papers and told me no as i wasn't welcomed..

I was born and raised in small farm town in AB. I was a partsguy for a while at the family dealership. I got into car audio in high school and started competing heavily in 2003. I travelled around in my SQ Buick and met alot of great people. Got a chance to compete at the world finals once in Memphis and once in Kansas City. Moved to Edmonton in jan 2005 to greener pasture. My first job here kinda sucked, and after a heated argument with the bosses wife I was fired. I pretty much drove straight over to the South Visions shop to share my news with the guys there that i normally visited. The manager figured i should try working there since i seamed to know the guys and car audio. This is also about the time i picked up my 97 Eclipse Spyder, which is my baby. In the last year Visions and Commision sales have been quite good to me.
I also go to pretty much any concert that comes through town.
I like beer and Burbon.
That's about it

Kris, 28, married with a son and a beautiful daugther. Work on jet engines and their control systems for a living as an Industrial Electrician/Instrument Tech. Born in stinky Prince George and will probably retire here...love it.
Haven't met too many people here other than Lethal (super helpful guy) and Westec, but I may make an appearance or two this summer if I get something together.

If you drag your *** out to my show June 17th you'll have a chance to meet a few more members and get your system metered and evaluated by some of the best.

I just came over from Canuck Audio Mart, it's mainly a home audio board, but there a board for car audio. One of the members posted alink to this site. I used to be into car audio, built a few decent vehicles, then I had kids. Now that the kids need less attention - they're 7 and 2.5 - and we have nice weather again, I'm looking to get the juices flowing again, and I'm sure the info on this forum can help!
I'm in Ottawa, and an going to try to get my car ready for the TSC show in July, and hopefully have it on display.
