Well, it's all going to depend on your tastes. You say you're not a big fan of honey, so I guess steer clear of the Beehive I mentioned. It DOES have a honey flavor to it. I wouldn't suggest a lager, as they don't typically have as much flavor as an ale. "Chadxton" there mentioned the Czech beers...probably my favorite beers on the planet are Czech, or Slovak etc... Golden Pheasent is a good one...so's Pilsner Urquell. However...these beers tend to have a higher hops content then most pilsners...which might come across as bitter to you.
I think I'll stand by my Creemore Springs suggestion...ever so slightly sweet, not too hoppy...good malt flavor. Nice beer...wish I had one right now. [img]graemlins/beer.gif[/img]

Speaking of Pilsner Urquell...did you know that it was originally called "Budwar", and then some American company stole the name...Budweiser...then turned around and sued...and won, for the rights to the name. They had to change it...now it's called Urquell. Pretty sickening, eh?
