whats the current P2P file sharing program of choice?

I use bit torrent for larger stuff, but individual songs n what not, I've always liked ares. It however, seems to lock up as soon as i open it. Doesn't matter how many times i uninstall clear the registry and reinstall, it still has trouble. Every once in a while it'll be fine, but like 2% of the time, so i'm giving up on it.

What are you people having luck with?

I use limewire and use Zone Alarm security suite to close that back door and i have not had a virus in over two years. It also has some awesome quality songs and only like 1 in 1000 have watermarks added to them which is nice.

Don`t need zone alarm and why stop at one song get every thing they ever done.Try it and serch ACDC under all types of files. You will see one file that comes fast and it has all they have ever done. Its like that for most bands and singers

files come true no added things in them because of the hash check. That is if the file first did not have a hitchhiker in the beginning.
Or if you like torrents try torrents.to or if your lucky you can try to join up over on bitsoup.org

Well with certain torrent programs you can select what files you want to download. So provided the entire album isnt .rar just select the song you wanty from the list and it only downloads that one. Thats what I do when I don't want to wait for the entire album

mint, never heard off or at least forgot about a couple of these. I can look into them, thanks.

On a related note, my ares just finally connected after i switched ports, which makes me happy. It works now i think (formatted and went to xp pro instead of media edition, so that fixed whatever issues it had earlier).
