I'm always respectful to the police when they pull me over or I'm going through road blocks as I have 8 family members that are involved with the RCMP or local branches of the law. I do however always seem to get a ticket written no matter how respectful I am. I however have no problem with it if I was doing something wrong. What I don't like is being pulled over at night when just cruising and being questioned every weekend. I get really frustrated when they threaten me with VI's etc. Once the threats come out I basically tell them to stick it and if they have a problem they can write the ticket and deal with my complaint that will be lodged the next day. Oh yah, don't ask a cop if they know your family/friends as it just brings an embarrassment back to them and it will rarely get you out of a ticket.

This one time I went through a "YELLOW" light and with my back tires being abit baldish I kinda had the *** end slide abit it had issue with locking up when jus tapping the brakes anyway the cop was the 2nd/3rd in the other lane stuck at the red light I pulled over right away figuring I was caught no sense in running well **** took him long enough to turn around cause other cars started comming through I could have took off, He nailed me with running a "RED" light.. even though clearly yellow.. My wife on the other hand gets caught doing 80 in a 50 cop pulls her over says " you realize how fast you where going " nope.. I'd say ur where going about 80k... wife replies with ok sure? she isn't goin to say yes to anything, cop then replies with you realize ur speeding yep.. ok just make sure u don't do it again! WTF!!! and it was a chick cop to boot.. I got nailed everytime for being honest... she's honest slap on the wrist u can go.. GRRR damn women **** even women are letting women off with big *****!!

I'd like to introduce a dumb *** story of how I got away with something I shouldn't have. I don't endorse this type of driving, as it is, and always has been stupid.

A few years ago, I was driving home (out in the country at that time) about 2 am on a monday morning. Roads were absolutely deserted. Knowing the road quite well, I crested a hill and proceeded to row through the gear box on my way to over 200km/hr. At the bottom of the hill, I let off the gas and proceeded to coast up the next hill decelerating back to the speed limit of 90km/hr. About 3/4 of the way up, a car came over the crest approaching me, as it went by I could clearly make out the reflective markings of the RCMP on the vehicle. Knowing I was still over the speed limit, I simply pulled over and waited for the RCMP car to turn around. About a minute after I had stopped, the car came rolling up behind me and flicked on the cherries.

I had my liscence and reg. ready in hand when the officer reached my window. He said "I know you've got a nice car, but you can't be driving that fast."

I think I got a gift from God, because it really made me think about my driving habbits. People whine about getting pulled over, but I don't think it's a bad thing. I have a lot of respect for law enforcement personell, they deal with a lot of crap every day.

I find it really embarasing to part of that crap, but then I learned from it didn't I...

pull out of the local 24/7 Convinces store going way to fast. cops don't like that

go offroading with your truck on the school track
for some reason they don't think your trying to run laps.

pull out a flash light when a cop comes up to the window and say have you been drinking. cops don't find this funny when you try to imitate them.

got this off a funny site
I'd hope you did none of those. The flashlight ones really funny tho lol </font>[/QUOTE]the one about the store and the track my friend acctually did. and the flash light one my friend has on a list of things he wants to do before he dies. and yes he knows he can get a ticket for that.

The pulling out of the store or any driveway is common sense not to do.

Someone I went to school with had a 5 Litre 90's style mustang taken care of of course. and he decided to burn out of the mcdonalds parking lot not noticing the cop coming. He got pulled over and got a ticket for excessive noise and somethin else.

u boonie ppl make me laugh. come to Toronto where the Emergency Task Force will give u the beat down of a life time for trying to break up a club fight.

and as far as being pulled over, sometimes i dont even stop for good 3-4 blocks if i know they pulling me over for no reason.....just keep going and goin, that really gets them exited. i get a kick out of that. funny when i do stop the first thing they ask me for is to see the car keys lol.

its also funny not to tell a cop why u driving a rental car when he searches u and finds the ownership and insurance for a vehicle that is registered into your name. My favourit is 'What do u have to hide??'

Once i got pulled over in one of the parking lots in Regent Park (one of the bigger Toronto area ghettos) after mid nite. I gave the cop my ID rightaway before he even said anything, after he took my license he proceeded to ask me "whats your name?" and "who are you?" and "where do u live?"......i was like READ STUPID!! it's all on my driver's license....that was one of the best encounters with the Toronto police 52nd division for me. The same cop proceeded to ask me if I had come down all the way here for 'dope'. I looked him straight in the eye and said. Officer if i wanted 'dope' I would not come all the way here, we got all the dope u want up in Richmond Hill. He was speechless.

Here is an advice, when u are being pulled over or approached by the cop otherwise and he starts to ask u questions DO NOT TELL HIM MORE THAN WHAT HE'S ASKING. Example: u are at a park sitting at a table and a cop coms asking 'what are u doing here' your answer should be 'sitting at this table', nothing more. Every question a law enforcment officer asks u is an attempt for you to incriminate yourself, that is what a police officer is suposed to do and is trained to do. PLEASE do not fall into that trap. Never say anything u are not asked. they ask direct short, questions and u give them an even shorter, direct answers.

Perhaps he asked you all that to make sure it was you and to make sure you weren't drunk or stoned Yuli. Although your picture is still on the ID lol

Regent Park is full of homeless people most of the time is it not??

One of my ex's and his friend drove his parents ford taurus (older one) across our high school football field and set a dumpster on fire one night. Heard about that on the announcements the next morning (the fire in the dumpster) lol.
