Exclamation

So it started raining around 6 or so i'd say, could hear thunder and rain on the room. Everytime the lights would flicker and go out all the employee's would cheer in hopes that we lost power. Then they'd come back on and we'd sigh and sit back down. I ended up puttin in some overtime...got off work at like 10:30ish.

It was lightly raining on the walk to my jeep....i though tneat see how the tires do in the rain. I drove for about 3 minutes and needed to have the wipers on hardcore full speed (and i still couldn't see anything).

I drove down one of hte main highways (whitemud) speedlimit 80km/h i'm doing 30km/h and still can't see jack. I'm just hoping that the next minor dip in the road which has now turned into a lake doesn't pull me into another lane, or make some guy smoke me from behind.

Finally exited off onto a side street. I tried to make abotu 40km/h down this street or at least get away from other cars....right when i thought i was away just a wall of water...i let go of the gas step on the clutch and let the song of the bitch blow it's over cole, it's over. Sorry got carried away, i'd step on the clutch, hope i'm still going straight.

Then one time.....huge *** thing of lightning, felt like it hit my jeep, all the street lights went out with a huge *** bang and then BAM into another lake in the middle of the road. (why is there a lake in the middle of the road?) So that one actually scared me....and i was just hoping that i would make it home. It got better from there though....and so i whipped into wendy's tried to order while only opening the window the least amount possible...and now here i am still alive. YAY!

On a side note, i put larger tires on my vehicle, went from about 29" tires to about 31" tires. Thats probably gonna throw the speedometer off correct? Am i correct to think i'm actually going faster than what it reads?

Absolutly, you have more circumfrence meaning speedo is gonna be thrown off and reading slower than your traveling.. On a side note thats an easy way around a governor to get and extra 20/30 k before it kicks in.

Yeah it was raining hardcore.

I had to go into work today to drain the lake that delveloped from all the rain in our shop's yard. It was about 2 feet deep and 100ft long by 30 ft wide. Ou and we have a sinkhole now too! That was cool 8ft round and 3ft deep!

Shoulda seen the rain storms we had when I was living in the jungle being raised by wolves.

I don't think I've ever seen rain around here like what your describing....Or at least not awake for it. We've gotten hit pretty hard, but nothing that would make me think twice about driving...of course that's just me.
