I agree with what your saying, what makes her happy has nothign to do with what others say. I'm just offering a some options, thats all. As for Kenwood, nobody ever said anything bad about it.

I also agree with that it is a good company both in quality and customer service. I've owned their products in the past and had no problems at all.

I agree also agree that buying used is a risk, but if you can get a good deal, than it may be worth it.

Edit: Also just noticed the Avionexx wouldnt work anyway as it puts out 800x1 at 4 ohms bridged.
As I said before, that Kenwood amp will likely work just fine, and last a long time. I'll say no more.

K are you guys done talkin about me now ?? I know what I'm getting into and what I have purchased, I did my research before buying this amp as well. No I dont have the money to go all out on a huge amp. I still have to purchase an alarm BEFORE I put the system together, and an alternator will be the last of my worries. I work 2 jobs that're practically full time, one is full time, the other one feels full time.

Also I didn't want the avionxx or w/e you want to call it. I like Kenwood. And I like the dealer I bought it from and YES I do get a warranty there.

There are reasons I tend NOT to buy online. No warranty, Don't know the person, Piece Of Crap chance. Which is also why I did not buy my Alpine MP3 Deck online. I wanted the warranty. Mind you now I wish I had bought Johhny's. But that was then and this is now. You gotta make mistakes to learn from them, at least I didn't spend $600 on a piece of crap amp. and it was $280 CASH. If I paid debit or CC it was going to be closer to $300.

Pinhead you just wrote so much crap there I don't even know where to respond.
1) Customer who has 10w7 and 300 watt amp thinks it's the cats ***...ok, all my friend have abahns in huge bandpass boxes and thinks it's the best **** ever. So I guess since I know more than one person who has it, it's the best.
Lets all buy bandpass boxes.

2)People like me don't have a clue? Ok maybe that's how you continue to sell 300 watt amps for a billion dollars. Good for you.

3)Unlike YOU, I actually TALK to Teri. We talk about systems all the time, and what she wants, I think I would have more of clue than you who reads one post and thinks he knows what he's talking about.

4) If you gotta upgrade your alternator for 800 watts then you're not doing something right.

5) I never said Kenwood made bad amps, infact I think I did state that I have owned one similar to hers (and 3 over the span of a couple of years).

6) I don't accidentily blow amps up and have bought used things in the past if I know who I'm getting them from.

7) Selling a lot of 150 watt amps on 400 watt subs would leave me to think a lot of subs would come back with burnt vc's due to clipping at high volumes. But hey that's just me...

8) AND BTW just fyi, I do buys lots of things from retail stores around me, so lets not start an internet vs retail crap thread. (Actually just 2 weeks ago picked up an 9831 for $350 taxes in at a local retailer.)

Good enough? Go bash away, I probably won't reply again, I wasn't going to in the first place, but when you say I've no clue, and obviously you don't as well, I've got to reply with something.

Ok... well you bought your amp, so I'm closing this. It's just turning in to a crap fest.

Btw.. Ter... sorry for editing your first post, but the spelling mistake in the subject was killing me!
