It does 400 at 2 ohm, and if it did it at 4 ohm it would make no diff are both your subs are svc 4 ohm so you have to wire them to 2 ohm.

I still have no idea why you bought that amp. Overpriced for what you could get it for, and doesn't really firt your application. With those subs I would've atleast looked for a 650-700 watt amp. 400 is simply not enough for the pair.
Why do you ask for peoples opinions when they goto waste?
Honestly Teri sometimes I think you just like throwing away money

i have a customer with a 10w7 and drives it with a kenwood 300 watt and you know what he thinks its the cats ***
what one person is happy with or another can be two different things
and the diffenece between 400 watts and 600-700 is less than 3 db

I don't like brands I don't know. I WANTED a JL amp but couldn't afford it.

Yeah but why spend money needlessly? You knew you needed an amp for so long, why just spend the money on the FIRST thing that fell in your lap?
I mean it's your money but still
I know for a fact you could've found a better amp for cheaper, shoulda asked me b4 u went and spent money again .

BTW pinhead, not saying it's crap but from speaking to her, and her posting, it was definatley not what she was looking for, and the price wasn't that great either, regardless of the what "msrp" was.

I was lookin for a Crossfire, and everything I came across that I wanted was above my price range Johhny. What've u got considering the amp is still in the box untouched.

is the price of 280 plus tax or tax in
and to say its to much money is your opinion
do you have a retail store
and if you did i would like to see what you would have retailed it at and stayed in business
people like you don't have a clue
and as a better amp for less the same applies
get her into some used thing or internet item with no warranty ?
what are you comparing it to something from the internet or something used

i like how other people always know what other people should or should't buy

and as i said 600-700 watts would gain less than 3 db so whats your point

if she needs more power kenwood has a 900 watt that retails for around $450
and that would give her a 3 db increase if it were a perfect world

did you also ask her if she has money to upgrade her alternator as well or are you paying for it

i hate to see what happens when she buys her car
i will probably be the wrong one two

Twice as much power, and probly cheaper too. That is if the guy will split them up.

I didnt think that Avionexx is really that bad of a brand. She said that she likes the looks of Tsunami amps, and an Avionexx 800.2 looks pretty much identical to Tsunami's.

As for the no warranty or guarantees:

She said she wouldn't mind buying stuff used as long as she deals with them in person, and with that comes the no warranty etc.

it just floors me how people make judgement on what will make here happy
johnny how do you know that the kenwood isn't enough power to make her happy
as i said i have a customer with a w7 running less power and he is happy
you don't need to run max power to a sub to make it work you know
i sell lots of the entry level pioneer subs with 150 watt amps
the subs are rated for 400 rms
you know what johnny i think i know something there more than happy

and as for buying used stuff where are you when it blows up
what if you accidently blow the amp up what do you have
are you buying somebodyelses problems?

and as for being a kenwood amp i feel as a company they are one of the best out there
and go further than any other company i have delt with in 20 years in looking after there dealers and customers
they will be there long after these basement companys like aveonics are gone
and have had a hell of alot more practice building amps than they do
