Talking

Well now that I've sold the car, I got about $700 for it. Was asking $800 so I did pretty good.

I split the money with my dad, I found it was only fair because he put a lot of money into it for me because I couldn't afford to.

So I have $350 to put towards an amp to power my 2 Alpine Type R 10" SVC subs. What would you guys recommend.

I thought about going with 2 amps, one amp per sub. Give me some ideas. I want this system to sound clean, clear, loud, and good overall. I'm not so much going for competition wise with this setup. I just want a nice loud clean daily driving system. The headunit is a Alpine CDA 9827. - As you can tell ... I like Alpine lol. I also like JL though.

I agree, I'm saving up my cash to get a car before I start on a new system. It's too painful to have all the equipment sitting there when you can't even use it.

To answer your question, I'd look for an amp that does 1200 RMS for those subs. I used to run an amp like that on my old Type R's and it was awesome.

Depending on VC look at the American Bass cx1200d, Memphis 1000d, Kicker 1200, PG Tantrum 1200.1, Hifonics 1500, and the list goes on. See what you can find in your price range and go from there.

Good luck,

yeah they're the 4ohm SVC's.

I have money put aside for the amp the car $$ is already looked after and planned out.

Tyler obviously an alarm is key and the car I was going to get and just may still get already came with an aftermarket alarm just like my last car.

Anyone got model's & brands for what they would recommend?

No one's got any crossfires kickin around now

Ive heard good things about the Class D Tsunami amps, although I've never used one. They come at a fair price and I believe they used to be made by Avionexx. Which model are you talking about?? Something like the DB1100D?

Edit: Dont think it would be a DB1100D since it puts out its power at 1 ohm.
