can u get temporary auto insurance in ontario if u dont have any insurance at all?

AFAIK you can't get plates without insurance.

If you're just doing it to drive a new car a short distance you can get temporary plates for a week or something like that.

I believe that if you get temporary plates you also get insurance with them.

u need insurance to get plates, but i dont want to pay for 4 month of insurance if im not gonna use the car. i was wondering if its possible to get a temp insurance from anywhere?

No... you read it wrong.

I didn't mean get plates temporarily, I mean get Temp. plates.

They're a paper thing that you stick in the front windshield. I did some checking and it's valid for 10 days.

I'd look in to that if I were you

you should be able to. Call the insurance company and find out. I got insurance for 7 days before.

you get the temp plates right from the ministry of transportation, 75$ covers you for 10 days whether or not insurance is included in that 75$ i have no clue
