Anyone catch the gold medal game? It was the best hockey I've seen in years. Saskatchewan took it to Alberta in the first two periods, and then fell apart in the third. Screw the NHL, best $15 I've ever spent.

Alberta stepped it up, Saskatchewan fell apart and Albertal won it in overtime 4-3.

Ben Thomson scored the tie goal as well as the game winner in OT. He was a great MH Tiger.

Yeah it seems like all of the players are ex WHLers. It makes me wonder how many players are actually going to school in a real faculty, to get a degree and not just arts and crafts or PE

I watched it on tv in the bar above a table full of goths. That was fun, half the time they thought I was staring at them lol

The Whl pays for some university for players who do not go on to the NHL. In Ben Thomson's case if his last name ended in "inski" he would be NHL material, unfortunately since he is Canadian he is too small

I should have went to it. Velvet Revolver was in tonight and they were pretty ****in sweet. Nice to see slash and his magic fingers and Scott and his amazing pipes!
