I bought the Mastercraft 10" saw. Not a bad unit, but some of the problems I have had are the little yellow handles for raing and tilting the saw, the nut backs off and the handle falls off in your hand. And the rip fence has a piece that broke off so the fence doesnt stay absolutley square to the blade.
I piad 199 and taxes for the deluxe setup with the extension and the table base. pretty sturdy base and the saw cuts pretty well, but I will end up buying a laminate blade pretty soon.
One cool feature is the on off switch uses a little key. The key has to be put into the switch before the table will power up. Like a safety lockout type idea.

aye, mate. DWVW knows what hes talkin aboot eh? Personally, I cant stand table saws. But, i do have a great radial arm saw, where the blade/notor can be turned sideways, and the width set for ripping. Great saw, it would be about oh, 20 years old now, still workin great
