Stop unwanted telemarketing!

If you get as many telemarketers calling as I do on my two phone lines at home, you might want to look into this as well:

I used to work for CIBC's call center and we heard all types of stuff. I could not believe how some people just lost it when you called them. Its just a phone call, if you don't like it hang up. No one forces you to stay on the other end of the phone. Funny thing is 95% of the time we were calling cus we could actually save you money with your banking.
The more mad people got, the more **** we would pull on them. Auto dialers are great for screwing with people. You can program callbacks pretty much antime the dialer is running. Over and over.
There were times where the dialer would get stuck dialing the same number over and over. This one lady got called for about 45 min straight. It would be so funny that she would just keep answering thinking it was someone else!
Yes the standard telemarketers are a pain, but I find it funny on how many people will sit and wait for the right time to politley say "no thanks" instead of just clicking one button and walking away.

^^^^^ So how do you stop these calls from coming into your business then Yuli..... I have not had a home phone for over 15 years now. The day cellular came out is the day I had a phone. It's amazing at how many spam calls come into my business line on any given week.

I listen to the whole schpeil before saying no. Wastes their time and their time is money.
If it's a survey I always ask the company that is sponsoring the survey. Typically the caller has no idea so I explain, in detail, how I cannot participate if I don't know who the sponsoring company is. I find the caller glad to get off the line
