IE will cause you nothing but problems. Take a computer that has tonnes of popups everytime you are surfing the net load Firefox and non of the popups will be there not to mention you can remove adds from web pages and about 1000 other cool plugins that have been created because firefox is open source.

Netscape 7.1 works like a charm for popups!.. I tried this lil "tweak" seemed to have made a nice difference.... now the info just there soon as u click...

</font>[/QUOTE]Doesn't cause everyone problems, I was using IE for over a year and hadn't had any problems until recently but then I think it has something to do with something conflicting with it cause so many other things have gone wrong with this system its hard to tell whats causing it, I've changed ram 4 times now....

BUT Windows XP SP2 is supposed to have the same features in IE that firefox offers. (I dont like xp2 and dont have it installed, therefore i use firefox) That and I've gotten attached to firefox lol

I have sp2 use a wide range of softwares and not 1 problem at all!

Our college/university is still trying to accomodate the updates for xp sp2 to work. Some students aren't able to access what they need to from the school online on the computers that have sp2 installed. Thats my reason for not havin it.
