Someone mentioned Pil. That just makes me chuckle. I thought everyone on the Prairies knows it by it's true name: old sqaw ****
No one brought up Vitamin R? I'm shocked. Anybody know what that is?

Hey Kilowatt, what's the cheap crap beer that's brewed up in PG? My wife's father recently died from drinking that stuff for over 20 years (literally, his body pretty much shut down on him and he lived on beer, smokes and the odd pizza). When cleaning out his apt. there were dozens of cases of empties but I can't remember what it was. When I was in PG in December I saw the brewery and had to laugh.

The local beer brewed back home is Steelback and it seems to be pretty successful. It's not bad either. Laker Lager is brewed back home too and it is not a good beer.
Peterborough has a small Micro Brews and they make a good India Pale Ale. I think it's maybe called Old Stone but I'm not sure.

SUX- Pacific Pilsner (sailboat on the can) and 360 are the main beers from our brewery here. TNT is the a more potent both in alcohol and taste, and as Dukk mentioned Cantrbury (wife loves it, I dont mind it).
Hooch coolers were also made here, and were actualy decent, they weren't loaded with sugar like all the others.
