The Lob and Pitching wedge are the same are they not?

I have a Pitching and Sand that I use on a regular basis when I play..I haven't been out for a while so I may need a water wedge this year

What brand was the $190 wedge? PING?
Wouldn't surprize me.....my 5 iron is PING, cost $240, but what a nice club to swing....worth 240? No...not for my skill level. Same with my 1 Wood.....it's a $400 Mizuno, again, not worth it for me...oh well.....the rest of the set is worth about $1000 brand new and it's all Northwestern.

Nope, a lob wedge has a greater loft than a pitching wedge. It allows you to carry over an obstacle and then get down and stick. It has much less roll than a PW.
