I like my mitsubishi, fit and finish are nice, and I've never had any problems getting everything back into it's proper place.

not only that, but the lancer has the best single din CD player installation I've ever seen, it is supported by 4 screws into the frame at the front, and by a cushioned pin 2/3 of the way back on either side.

I had the worst time with my '96 Camaro. Not saying Chevy is bad, but that car sucked.

Now I've been loving my 02 Explorer though since I've gotten it even though, "Found Off Road in Ditch"

And I heard a great line for Pontiacs that I had never heard until a few weeks ago, but that wouldn't be appropriate on this board. LOL!

I think Honda should be close to the top as I worked at the honda plant in alliston ( north of toronto) and had a birds eye view of the opperations, I worked in the quality departement and saw from the biggining to the end from the welding to paint to the final road test on the track, its amazing the quality they strive for.
haven't been to other plants to have positive or negitive comments.

German cars are well built, you have to be careful when working on them, taking great care in re-assembling everything properly, and avoiding power tools for dash/panel screws.
BMW like Benz use recycled rubber and plastics, the pieces seem to be more fragile than older versions.
German cars are nice fit and finish and designed well...cars like the neon ,dodge ram, magnum.
