Question

Some general questions:

Are they gonna try and deliver it to my door? (they never catch me)

Can i somehow have them just leave the package at a purolator office instead of try'n to drop it off?

Is that a 1 or 2 day trip?

You could leave a note for the guy in most cases if your not there when they stop by they bring it back to the office till the next day, so at the end of the day you could phone and ask if its there and go pick it up. Dad does this often here in Ontario.

i dunno bout purolator, i believe with UPS we have a 1 day time in transit from BC to ed, and we would make 3 attempts, or if theres no money owing, or a signature required we would just driver release it somewhere hidden around your house

odds are actually pretty low most times of packages going missing when they are driver released, least with us, since febuary ive driver released literally thousands of packages and have had driver followups on 2 that have gone missing

I have never had a UPS or Purolator leave a package at my door I have allways gone and picked it up at a depot. Now if your talkin Canada Post thats a different story they routinely leave packages at my door. Lucky I live in a good area nothing has gone missing....

I work with FedEx on a daily basis... They will; leave a package at a house providing either they have a release waiver on file or the driver feels comfortable leaving it there..

On the other hand i have had purolator come to deliver a cd... and leave a pickup notification to come get it locally.. The CD would have fit in the mail slot on the door.. lol
