Nice, they barely have any adjectives and adverbs in that story. If it had been APBT's that were attacking, they would would have used words like "viciously powerful", "bloodthirsty", and "evil" to describe the offending dogs, and words like "saint-like", "family-loving" etc. for the saviour animals.

a friend of mine had a chow it bite his daughers hand
now she has no use of that hand

I was forced to punch out a chow once. They are mean little SOB's. There is not much reasoning with them, either, when they get ornery.
I think they are one of the most stubborn dogs with a very low learning curve and they're all about the looks.......kinda like high maintenance trophy wives/girlfriends.
