Partitioning question.

I partitioned my hard drive a while 100 and divided my 100 gb drive into 2 50 partitions. I now however want to remove the partition and have it just appear as one drive again instead of two.

How do I go about doing this. I've been in Disk Management in XP mucking around but haven't gotten it working thus far.

Apart from erasing both partitions and creating 1 new partition then formatting it (losing data on both partitions) you'll need a special software like Partician Magic or similar which can do all this fancy stuff generally without losing any info.

Windows is not able to do it alone (at leas not XP - maybe things will change in later versions).

^^^ Right.. I believe that in XP you can only create new partitions without losing data, but I always use Partition magic, for that very reason.
