Out of audio, now into speed!!!
#1
I've been a car audio fan since before I was able to drive. Just recently after buying my 97 Thunderbird, the speed bug bit me and the audio kind of faded. ( weight issues ) I sold my system and I'm back to 5x7's all around and my deck. With the money, dual 2.5" exhaust, Torque converter and J mod. The thrill of audio's gone, now it's all about the go.
Just wanted to give a shout out to you guys who have helped me out and those who helped me build my systems by giving me good deals on kick *** equipment. I'll still be around, just not much... PEEACE!

You don't need an SC to build a fast TBird. Besides, 97's are the best looking Birds I find and the SC's only came with bigger wheels brakes. I'd rather have a 14 second Bird than a run of the mill 5.0 stang or rice rocket. I went to Shannonville last week and was the only Bird and had a few guys come and ask me about it. I ran a 15.7 stock and it was my first time draggin. I'm running a 4.6L V8. Right now I have 2.5" dual exhaust. I'm going to have the J mod and Torque converter done within the next month or so. Even though it's an auto, the J mod makes it shift harder and faster than most 5 speeds.
Later on down the road, I'm looking at PI heads, PI intake and maybe a shot of ZEX nitrous. If money permits I wouldnt mind dropping those ideas and going with an Allen supercharger,

ughhh... 95 Birds are slower than 97's. They have 15lbs ft less torque and have 3.08's instead of 3.27's.
Knock my Bird all you want. Point is I like it, and don't care all that much about what others think of it. They do have potential to go fast, just check out tccoa.com for proof of that.
Slammed15, I'll shoot some pics on here as the process gets going.
