Question

but whats with the rash of "topic closing" in the donut shop?

I do understand that some threads are not suitable and should not be allowed, but I've noticed in the last couple weeks a huge increase of threads that are absoulutly harmless being closed...Eg:
http://www.canadiancaraudio.com/ubb/...;f=13;t=006005

I was going to PM the mods with this question, but I'm sure that more than just myself has asked the same question...

Thanks in advance for any answers that can be provided!!

BTW....Please don't this post,it's mainly intended for input from the mods....Thanks...

I believe its because they dont want 2 or 3 people having conversations in a thread, they would rather the people use MSN or something similar.

Alot of these threads get hijacked and are no longer about the topic. They become conversations between a few select people. Most of this is by people who do not even contribute to the rest of the forum, this is a car audio forum and the donut shop was intended for people who CONTRIBUTE to this forum to have a place to ask unrelated and general questions. It has slowly become a hang out for people that have nothing better to do then take up bandwidth with trivial conversations that can be discussed with MSN.
