i dont se how this will solve the high salary problem...its a short fix. it would solve problems for a short season this year and teams that have high paid players on long term contracts but next season it will only take one dumb owner to go against the grain and give someone a huge salary.......just like the last cba when Bostons ownership pushed for major rookie cut backs then they get Joe Thornton, go against everything they stood for and pay him our the ***.

Cap the greedy bastards, if they don't want to agree get rid of the lot of them and they can form their own league (doomed to fail as they'll still be whining about not getting paid enough). There is a ton of up and coming talent just waiting for an opportunity to play the game first and take home a respectable but not stupid paycheque second. Might make the game a little more interesting again.

There wont be an NHL anymore so it looks if he doesn't accept the deal. And after watching the sportsnet news cast on it last night the players are a bunch of creedy overpaid chumps.
Oh no your gonna lose 9 million yashin, half the people in this world are freakin lucky if they make $60,000!!!!!
