new rotors and ceramic pads

So I went to Lordco 2 days ago and talked to my buddie (****in lucky **** is the Asst Man.) and talked to him about getting some rotors and pads.... I told him I'd be in on Fri to pay for them.... well I get there today.... He ordered them the day I was there..... so I walked in and picked up some Powerslot Rotors and some Raysbestos ceramic coated pads..... $292 Taxes in.....

Here's the old rotor and pads with the new shiny ones!

Here's the driver's side before.....

And the driver's side after....

Here's the look after install....

The only thing I have to complain about was the amount of proper break-in time for the rotors..... I was doing it for about 1.5hr's to start them and now I have 500km's till they're ready for extreme use.... (that's what it said on the paper....)

Next project.... Eibach Pro Kit....... 1.6"front 1.8"rear

because the drilled ones have a tendencey (sp?) to crack in between the holes.....
he's seen it too many times..... and I had the cash to get some but he suggested that I don't..... he knows how I drive..... but the difference is ****in crazy!!! I'm so glad I did it.....

did the brakes on my buddies car. 99 sunflour. braking was a HUGE diffrence.

strait pipe and K&N all done no more then 2 weeks ago. week lator the spins a brearing and a rod is ticking like no mans bussness. to the wreakers it goes!!!

when my buddie was looking for pads the guy at the counter said that hed never get them hot enough to be able to us the ceramic. went with the kevlars instead. Do you notice your brakes work better when really hot?

Talking

yeah, I broke them in proper... I went through each step so carefully, LOL Yeah I was given the option of Kevlar.... but I drive fast and brake hard, so the ceramic coated last longer in those conditions...... but when it's nice in town driving yeah they do need to be warmed up, mind you I still have about 350kms more of break-in time..... time will tell....

You better get your *** some rims to go with all that rubber. Don't spend any more on your system. Get yourself a rim and tire combo. I need more time to catch up and if you keep spendin your paychecks on vehicle upgrades then I'll be closing the gap awful soon.
