Need For Speed Underground 2
#62
Is 2 better than the original? Like does it drive anymore realistically? Is it worth getting over the original? I wasn't all the impressed with NFSU but I'll consider getting 2 if it's much improved. Is the drag racing portion better?

No, it's not more realistic ... I'd say it's a little less realistic, actually ... It's more like an expansion on NFSU ... More cars, more parts, more game-modes, and free-roam ...
As for game modes,
Circuit - A little better
Sprint - Better
Drift - Worse
Drag - Worse
Online - Worse
New Modes ...
StreetX - Meh
Downhill Drift - Good
Outrun - Good
URL - Good
It's still fun and there's loads to do, but if you only like realistic racing games, this one isn't for you. The physics in this game are very arcade-like ...

I'd say it looks worse with a DX7 card like my GF4 MX440
StreetX requires precision driving and a nimble car. I find it incredibly easy, routinely lapping cars within the 4 lap race.
