Need For Speed Underground 2
#11
How can you get stuck ? This game is stupid easy even on Hard ...
I got it on the 18th and have beaten it twice (Stage 4 on my 3rd game) all on Hard ...
Anyways, use the Evo 8 for drifting and trade in the 3000GT for something that isn't completely worthless ...

These are the results of my testing ...
*Your results may vary*
Circuit: Test Track, First Lap, Best of 5 Tries (No fishtails, off-track, wall hitting, etc.), No Nitrous, Varying suspension/aerodynamic setups. Gearing ... 1st = 40 MPH, 2nd = 72 MPH, 3rd = 104 MPH, 4th = 136 MPH, 5th = 168 MPH, 6th = 200 MPH (32 MPH intervals between 40-200 MPH)
Drag: Test Track, 1/4 Mile, Best of 5 All Perfect Shifts, same gearing as Circuit unless vehicle had difficulty with traction (Then moved to 45-200 MPH in 31 MPH intervals), Nitrous starting in 2nd gear.
StreetX: Test Track, First Lap, Best of 5 Tries, Varying Suspension/Aerodynamic setups. Gearing = all acceleration
Drift: Stadium Track 5, 10 Laps, Combination of 3 Tries (30 laps), Varying Suspension/Aerodynamic setups. Gearing = all acceleration
Overall: 1st = 25, 2nd = 24, 3rd = 23, ..., 24th = 2, 25th = 1, 26th = 0 times the weight for each category ... Weight is based on the number of races in the game in each category.
Circuit = 116 (56 circuit, 36 sprint, 24 URL)
Drag = 34
StreetX = 36
Drift = 36
(Example, AE86 finished 1st in circuit (25*116), 23rd in drag (3*34), 1st in streetx (25*36), and 15th in drift(11*36) for a grand total of 4298 points ... 25*116+3*34+25*36+11*36)

The RX-7 is the easiest to control ... The RSX and Eclipse are also quite easy to control ...
I didn't find the Evo 8 too difficult to control and it (and the TT) can rack up points like a **** ... I also found the Evo 8 easier to control than the Skyline, especially around tight corners where the weight of the Skyline rears its ugly head ... Not that the Skyline is bad for drifting or anything, I just feel the Evo 8 is better (at least for me) ...
How are you setting up your drift car(s) ?
*Tip* Don't use the e-brake ... ever ...

I set up the cars the way they display in the dyno track
I dont use the ebrake i learned that in need for speed underground 1
Perhaps I'll swap that skyline for the rx7 then the FAQ said one of the 2 would do it best.

well I know the races are on the map but not all the races are. I mean there are still races and nothing shows up on the map so I have to drive around every street and try to find the race in a secret location. The last one I found was in the observitory (sp?) and now I can't find anymore.
Ahh well lots of time for me to play. Parents just went on vacation for 5 weeks to south america.
