Back about 4 years ago, my wife and I were looking at cars. A Cavalier Z24 caught our eyes (till I drove one and installed a couple hundred decks in them). The salesman told us the price, which was way out of our price range. He then pointed us to a mid 90's white Sunflower. He said that this would be a good option for my wife to drive, but not me....because you see, it's a girl car.
I swear to god that is what he said
Nonetheless, if I had to choose between a cavalier and a sunfire now, I would probably choose a sunfire. The interior in them doesn't fall apart like a cavalier, the door pannels don't crack, and the radio is WAY easier to replace (because you see....I am a lazy installer)
Peace out

/\/\/\/\/\The only diff in the newer Cavy's and Fire's are the body panels.
I've driven both several times and when they chaged things in 95 they started just making a bunch of the same chassis and putting slightly different body panels on them.
In fact, the two bodies are interchangable to create a Sunalier or Cavfire which ever you perfer...

I liked my Sunflower honestly I prefer to this day over my Cavalier I like the body lines alot better less boxier looking, and if you have the GT or Z24 version of the cars they can still move pretty damn quick with some mods there nothing like a Kia or Hyandai where you floor the pedal u don't move. The Sunfires had more sound deadening then the cavalieras Gm even stated the considered the Sunfire to be the "sport" car of the 2 and put more deadening and what not in the Sunflower to keep it more "solid" sounding etc etc....but that mirror tint I'd say clear of !

^^^ Chizzer is cool. All I ask Rock Superstar,... is that you dont make yours into a Ricer, with these cheezy aluminum spoilers and Kazoo exhausts. The most ridiculous Sunflower I've ever seen had a big double decker aluminum spoiler, bright green (spray painted on... I swear) paint job, and these absurd racing strips done professionally using a roller and interior paint. The coolest thing about that whole Sunfire, that made the babes just faint when they saw it.... Was the "TRD Racing" sticker on the top of the Windshield. FYI, that stands for Toyota Racing Development...... WTF........ Oh well, that "do it yourself" bubbly tint job really looked sharp... About as nice of a car as that riced out Rusty Ford Tempo with a full body kit and those simulated chrome rims (hubcaps) , or that Maroon Topaz with Duct tape racing stripes and a big spoiler...... Jeez, there are a quite a few interesting cars in Calgary
