I've seen a few people stuff in 350's into they're Toy's. would you do that? there is SO much available for Chevy 5.7 liters.

SHouldn't be too hard to get 400 horses out of it. (that would please Tyler too: I know you dont care about that.. but having an engine that could do 800 without too many extra mods: is really cool)

But I do think its quite funny that you guys laugh at GM as much as some of you do.. If I still had my 1984 S-10 with 800,000 kilometers.. I think most of you would shut up in a real hurry. That truck still ran like a champ.. ONLY had a rebuilt engine at 400k.. that was it.
STILL RUNNING TODAY!!! I see it occassionally... that thing just wont die.. I wont be the slightest bit surprised when the odometer rolls over.. Long live the bow-tie !

I'd like to see a Toyota do that.

small block swap into a toyota is pretty popular among some of the 4x4 guys around here. doesnt seem like a super difficult swap either if you stay carbed.

ill be doing a small block astro van pretty soon. as soon as i can find a dirt cheap base to work on
</font>
This guy in Calgary has the same set-up at Martin is proposing. At this car show a while back..... he won the burnout competition with 36" mudders....

AND A CHEVY 383 under the hood..
