double power gives you a 3db increase Add a second horn, another 3DB increase.. double the power cause you've added another driver.. another 3db increase.

I have done a fair bit of work to the mic preamp section of each chanel strip, to give me a higher level of gain before the "peavey hiss" becomes an issue This is what it looked like when I firft got it and was testing it.. Since then it's been cleaned and worked over I will buy something better in the future.. when funds allow it.

oh, that **** isnt missing.. I found it within a few days of dropping it behind my desk

Thats alot of channels, I like all the eq settings you can adjust, my numark, is limited to "treble, mid, and bass"
What types of shows do you usually do?

the numark board that i usually use is only 5, but i love the board, and the crossfader it has built in, as well as the cd players.

When i'm not using the numark, i use a Denon, dual cd player, and an "okay" eclar 5 channel mixer

The speakers are where we lack. We have a set of EV horn loaded boxes with a 15" sub, for that we have a 1350watt QSC amp

We have 2 pairs of CV speakers with a 12" and 2" (these sound really nice and are my favorite) We have an 850watt Qsc amp.

And for smaller functions, or really really big rooms, we have 8 active speakers (4 from D.A.S. and 4 from JBL) They have a 12" and a 1" and i can't remember, but i think they are about 300 watts each cabinet. For the big rooms we'll daisy chain as many as we need together. They sound pretty good)

we have some other mixers as well, but they are old. We have this really old flat console, that is about 4' long, and has to discmans for the cd players mounted on shock mountings (have never been able to make this one skip though)

and we also have a bunch of lighting effects as well

I've only got 3 bands of EQ also. The rest are the aux sends. I've done a few ranging from live bands to dj work. the board is only 16 chanels.. not enough!
