My new PA speaker project.

Working on getting a new (bigger) rig together. All Horn Loaded. I've been designing the horns for probably two weeks now... and I think I'm ready to start making sawdust I am going to start on my mid/top boxes soon.. maybe tomorrow or friday. Basshorns will have to wait a bit.
3d model of the mid / top box:
Now, the basshorns. Will be run from 40 Hz to 120hz, as nothing lower than that is needed for live sound stuff.
1w/1m plot of the basshorn:
Ofcourse, when the pair is coupled, they will go lower.
CAD Drawing of the internals:
And, a 3d model, with the mid/top box stacked ontop.
That's all for now.. i'll take pictures while I work.

A 2" or 1" throat on HF horn?
Is that a Peavey CH-3 horn on top?
keep us posted. I built myself a set of Pi horn speakers recently.

Sehag - All active, no passives here, they just don't handle the power
Ex-Maxx -Drivers are eminence. Wood is 3/4" 13 ply voidless. For myself. You work out the dimensions like that with alot of experementation, and messing with numbers
ex-everything - 1" throat on the HF horn. Driver has a 2" VC. No, that's not a peavey horn on the top, that's also my own design. The CH-3 has too wide of a dispersion horizontaly for my application. I need a horn with a 60 degree horizontal dispersion, so that I can run two boxes a side without any HF cancelation problems. Your speakers look good! the kilomax is a nice woofer
Amps are all QSC. I'm not feeling too well today.. Hopwfully I feel better soon and can get on it!
