There are a few Mustangs I ran acroos in the Autotrader from the Hat. I know the owner and the black 1990 is a very sweet car. Lots of power hardly ever driven, full show quality engine, and a pretty nice stereo done at Audio Concepts.

The yellow one is not a real Saleen, although it has many real Saleen parts on it. The black one is nicer IMO. Of course I have seen under the hood, in the trunk, and in the interior.
Supposedly the story with it is, the car was bought brand new at which point the engine was removed, then it was towed to the interior place where the whole car was gutted, then off to get repainted. So it was a brand new car that got a brand new paint job because the factory was not good enough, also the leather inside is very soft, like European cars and not American ones with that hard leather that seems to crack easy. The car was then used as a demo car for either the performance shop that built it or Audio Concepts and rarely driven. I am not sure if that stuff is true but it's what I heard from a friend of a friend.

That's the only wing that looks good on that style Mustang IMO.
Too bad I don't like convertibles.
You're likely never to find a REAL Saleen Mustang for sale. There wasn't/isn't a whole lot of them made and those that own them know they'll be a collector's item some day. Same with the Roush Mustangs.
