So I'm driving down Mac Tr. this weekend and for some weird reason I get this funny feeling that I should look down at my gauge panel....everything seems to be fine, the temp gauge is normal, my gas tank is full, my tach is revving nicely around 2700rpm, the speedo is as usual around 110 km/h (hehehe) and the check engine light is on (as usual)...but i look at my odo, and low and behold...149 999.8.....149 999.9...150 000.0!!!
yup, the '98 golf rolled past 150K this weekend. i was so proud of my baby, she's done so great over the past couple of years...we've been through soo much together....so here's to another 150K!!!

I had a plymouth acclaim, 350,000KM and ran like new...
94 grand am SE 3.1L - blew the tranny at 200,000km and the headgasket at 265,000
Volkswagens + dodge vans are driven and driven when they do break down, are fixed with parts from past VWs and dodge vans.... think my dad rolled a jetta over 850,000 once... (who knows how many used engines and trannies ect. had been in it)

Congrats Coffeyman!
A few years ago my gf '88Jetta turbodiesel with 320km burned up. Mid January and the block heater started the fire.
Her '92 Accord she drives today has 360km. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. And no more block heaters.
