Told me I'm not allowed to do that because my Windows XP isn't "genuine"

to clear up that "genuine" issue, check to see if your country, time zone, and date are correct, then you should be able to update media player
as long as your using a genuine copy that is
windows thinks it's not legit if you have these set wrong

Alright... this is a nerd thing now there a few things you need to do.
Google a KeyMaker and WGA Crack Or if you know how to your IRC or Newgroups there always on there.....

Or Format with a real Key....and dont use the Devils Own key the second you install windows and SP2 your screwed onces again. OR find someone to download it to you and install it
Meh.
simple :P

I have the real deal... for windows. just wait till Vista comes out and DMA comes to play then you will see alot problems with EVERYTHING

find out his issue before giving steps he might not need

my guess from reading his message is that he is trying to transfer his music into the media player library list
if that is true then he has to transfer his music under -> 'Start/My Documents/My Music' folder and that will automaticly populate under media player library.

let us know if that is what you needed Brandon

yea sorry I'm still here kinda.

I wanted MP to automatically take the songs I download on Limewire and put them in a play list.....however, I have it set up so that when I click on the song in my Library in limewire, it opens MP and plays it through it instead of limewire's media player.

But I'd still like to be able to send eveything to MP because since my computer is so ancient (p200) it has a little trouble actually playing the songs if limewire is open at the same time as MP.
