dukk man some things are not understandable really.
this truck has been in my family since i can remeber. i can't bare to part with it. she has gone through to much t just be turned over to the wreckers.
Its kinda the same quetion why would some one restore an old car... becasue they have a love for that vehicle.
i know my truck is nothing special. i could go out and pick one up in the traded in better shape and running conditions, but wheres the fun in that? i find great pride working on this thing. knowing its my own 2 hands that put that egine in, installed all the parts, fabricated mounts and stuff.
When you do it your self you can brag and say oh yeah i did that with my own 2 hands... but when you brag that you did it your self but some one else really did the job... welll its lieing and unrespectfull to the person who worked hard on what ever it was to make it work right for you.
like that bumper. i will not take credit for it. that was manufatured by my father and his buddy's. other then that i can pretty much take credit for any thing on that truck in terms of repairs and modifications.
