i dunno how a true canadian can possibly cheer for an american team with 2 canadian teams still in the playoffs, do u drink COORS light too??
personally i hate hockey, but the home team is still in it so im backin em... mainly to party up when they win.... but still i back em 100%

ps i dont consider montreal a canadian team...... separatist bastards........ lol im only kidding, i just forgot about them, and figured id take a shot.... i guess thats what the french are complaining about us anglos always forgetting they are even there lol

Yeah, because there's no Canadian's on the US city teams

I personally really like the Flames (and haven't said anything bad about them except that I feel their goalie was the reason they won the first game)but my favourite team is the 'Wings so I gotta vote for them. And I have my reasons why I hate the Leafs.

as far as me not liking hockey goes, i dont like the "im cooler then cool" attitude most hockey players have, mix that with the "locker room fun" and its not my cup of tea, football is where its at in my opinion, any sport that has over 1000 individual collisions in 1 60 minute game...... next id have to go lacrosse cus thats some violent shiznit lol

Cool, and not all hockey players are "im cooler then cool" first i herd that queer saying... Oh well, I think leafs will get a couple wins in, thats bout it, would like them to make it past philly but hey they do have a strong team..
Now the Calgary and detroit series... I beleive this, that detroit has more skill then Calgary, as a team, and as individuals, but in the mean time I beleive that Calgary has a faster team then detroit, as a team together, and as individuals... It is a pretty evenly match, I gott give credit to Lang for the first goal for detroit, that was a well earned and nicely played out shot...
So saying that..
Go FLAMES Go!
