Kidney Stones Suck!!
#1
So last weekend I wound up in the hospital for 2 days because of these damn things...and just about took myself out because it hurt so damn bad....
I would rather be castrated with a rusty dull butterknife with no painkillers than have to go thru that again...
Stupid thing is that they went in to remove the stone because of the size(7mm),but decided against it...now I have to wait til July 19 for the next stage...this thing called lipotripsy..where they take this soundwave gun,put it to my side and break up the stone..THEN..I have pass the little bits...UGH!!
And to top it off,the first time in the placed this little plastic stint in between the kidney and bladder...and now after I pass the stone peices they have to go in and remove that...and can anyway guess how its put in and removed??
Thats right!!Only one way in and one way out!! Fortunatly,I was knocked out cold for the installation...hope for the same for the removal as well...
Boy I tell ya...That show at Edmonton last Thurs.,I thought I was gonna die!!Thanks to Bootleguy for bending the rules a bit and getting me to a can real quick when I needed it..and to Ateam for picking me up from the hospital and talking me into doing testing some 2 or 3 hours after my release...And to LBKC for ditching work to make the mad dash to the hosp. in record time(20 min drive done in less then 5!)The one time I'm thankful he drives like a madman!!
Wish me luck everyone...Not only with the surgey stuff but also Mom's coming out "to help me out" She'll be handfull.."Dont do this and Dont do that!"
Anyway...I'll keep ya'll posted!!

Good luck with that, I've heard there damn painfull and hope to never experience it, if drinking water keeps them away I should be safe I drink a **** load of water and **** 100 times a day it feels lol.... And agreed with "MEEP" lol... I don't see any issue behind have a thread about it... granted making an emergency run to the can could be left out but all in all! lol... anyway hope that **** clears up for ya.

aaron didn't your mom ever tell you not to put thing's in your mouth that you don't know where they been.
But ya get better man, if it's any tihng like getting operated on then i think i know what you feel like. i was operated on when i was 5 or so. i can still remember the pain and never want to have to go through it again.

i know how you feel man (kinda). a couple of years ago i got gall bladder stones....yep, not kidney, but gall bladder. they hurt like a bitch too when they tried to pass. but they were too big and they can't remove them by sound waves...so they had to do a surgery and remove my whole gallbladder! then they put in a stint...but for got to attach it! so basically after the operation i had bile leaking into my stomach! then i had to go back for an emergency operation to have it reattached....it was baaad.
but they percacet and t3's they gave me were totally worth it! ahh, i loved those perky's...if you can string them on...take as many as you can! painkillers rock!
i feel your pain aaron...hang in there man!

I've thought about what that must feel like a couple of times and honestly it must be like giving birth over and over again. Plus you don't know when it's coming so that even screws up your life more.
Good luck with that (cringes in imagineable pain).
