Listen to some stuff. Find something with crisp clean highs. You will need some power to keep up with wind/ bike noise. Alpine head unit's are nice. They make true marine units if your bike sees weather. They also have what they call a head unit power pack KTP-445 which is basically a small 4 ch amp that plugs into deck and takes power rating to 45 RMS from about 20. It is a plug and play amp though you could run a dedicated 12 g wire to make sure to get sufficient power to the unit. The amp can always be added afterwards if need be

What kind of bike? If you want to keep the handlebar controls active it can be a pain, but in most cases possible. Good luck.

hi, its going into an aftermarket fairing, which i have not received yet.
they can be purchased with speakers, (5") wich i opted not to do.
i dont know if a 5.25 will fit yet, but i hope so
if not i hope i would be able to make the enclosures big enough to do this.
if not i would be looking for 5" or 4" speakers, which i see are not as common.
it also has a cutout for a head unit.

All the harley stuff I've done take 5 1/4. If the deck cutout is a single din you're set. If it's for the Harley radio you can order a "glove box" from harley and add a facia to mount the deck. I'm just assuming it's a Harley because u didn't specify. The alpine KTP is pretty small and you could probably find size specs online, if your running an amp. I'd advise against any hogtunes stuff. The specs are terrible and an alpine deck puta out more power. Good luck. Let us know
