GT4 will be great -- but not the same... building everything from the ground up is different than selecting "racing suspension".

The GT series is a PS2 exclusive -- kind of like Knights of the Old Republic is PC and Xbox only.

Also, the driving dynamics of the GT series are not as realistic as MCO -- also MCO had real DEGREES of damage -- that effects both the look and performance of your car beyond anything ever seen in existance before or since.

The sad thing is -- there is still things about MCO we have not even touched on -- like how huge turf wars were and the thrill of reaching level 30 (which I think should have been the cap level). They had the game DIALED like no other game will ever be.

It's kind of like "Whitecaps" or "Hulk" ice cream from Big Scoop -- it was awesome, and unless you had it -- you will never understand and never could because nothing like it is ever coming back.

I never played MCO... guess I missed out from the sounds of it...too bad. I do hope the handling is tweaked in GT4...and "ground-up" building wouuld be nice...MCO must have been a massive game...

^^^^ Darn, I forgot about the 59 Impala -- they handled quite well for their size. I had a vert 66 GTO but it didn't handle too well. AMX was nice -- I forgot!. My favorite 66 stang was the "voiture de course" -- I also had the "golden spade".

The one elusive car I missed in an auction while away on a trip and forever tried to obtain "just because" was a vert, rusty 63 T-bird.

Oh yeah, another favorite "weekly series" car I enjoyed was my chopped, rusty, Ford Galaxy with a 429 done class D with insane amounts of torque.

The Flame paint job on the 59 Imp was beautiful. One hot looking car. I liked the VDC Stang too but they were always so pricey. I intended on buying a 63 Bird just to say I had one but never did. Car was a friggin tank! Heh I remember I took a Chevy 427 or something, totally stock but with the 400 HP blower. Torque was around 1000 ft-lb at like 2000 rpm With an ultra-tall gear set it was like running a diesel. This was in one of the trucks. The Happy New Year 55 Chev I think. As soon as a race started, I hit the gas and instantly I would get engine damage and noise

fic toi! the VDC was a sexy car!

Yeah, the T-bird was heavy -- but it was a great cruiser -- my club would have cruises -- 4 of us would cruise around just for fun -- my nicest "cruiser" was my vert 55 olds and vert 64 impala with the stars. Man, I miss MCO!
