It's time to help.

The Tsunami in Asia has devasted millions of lives.
For the survivors of this disaster, everything is gone. I know it must be very hard to relate to what is really going on by watching TV or reading a paper, so I'll help paint a clearer picture.
I have friends that are there right now. 2 of my friends have houses on Phuket Island, luckily on high ground. But the world around them (despite the pretty picture the local resorts are trying to paint to promote turism again) is a horrible stench of death and starvation. Every ounce of water is valueable, every grain of rice, is precious. People haven't the means to purchase or even consume safe food and water, as their homes and possesions are gone. There are countless scores of children that don't have parents, so they wander the streets crying for food.
It's been 5 days now, and I haven't heard from one of my friends we'll call Mr.P (his name is very long) He lives(lived?) on the coast of Indonesia in the center of the disaster zone. Telecom services are down in his area, and it doesn't look like that type of infrastructure will be working any time soon. So....I'm left to wait for his call.
For those that don't have friends waiting for a phone call from them, they have no-one to turn to for help but the Red Cross.
Be that friend.

Thanks for reading my plea.
