Interior lights possessed?
Hello,
I drive a '99 Ford Windstar. Since I purchased it about a year ago now I've noticed that while driving the interior lights will blink occasionally. Sometime even stay on for a little then shut off. driving me nuts. Never for any specific reason, like stop hard, bump, bass, just out of the blue....
Might also be worth noting that when I installed my diode to intercept the RCM (rear control module) for the dome light/door pin sensor for my alarm the diode gets REALLY HOT when the doors are open. This diode is suppose to stop false alarms when the vehicle goes into "power saver mode". It sets off my alarm every 30 minutes on the minute reporting that the door sensor triggered the alarm.
I think there has to be either something wrong with the RCM, or an open wire somewhere?
Has anyone had anything similar happen to them? What was the causes? I'm no stranger to tearing this thing to pieces if I need to.
Thanks in advance,
Paul
