I'm really hating my college course. The bad part is I graduate in April, but I honestly hardly care anymore. I am enrolled in Law And Security Administration at Sir Sandford Fleming, but I find it so hard to even take notes, do homework, or even show up for class anymore. My first year I loved my course and had honours thoughout. This year, I just hate it..the teachers jerk us around so much, the classes we're forced to take have nothing to do with the field I am supposed to go into (why do I have to take Psychology of SPort....)

I'm just worried that I wasted 2 yrs of my life and my parents money on a program I don't want to use.

I just might work in this field for a few years so I have money saved up to go back to school...

I am very good with history, I have some of the highest averages in my high school's history courses ever...I probably should have done something in that field.

Sorry to waste your time with this guys..just gotta do some healthy venting.

Besides, I can always do something else. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Maybe go to another college in a year or so.

I graduated from durham for Police Foundations last year
most of the course material is pretty similar
I say just stick with it, you only have a couple of months left

I got accepted into their Pf program back in 2001, I went to Fleming instead. I hear you guys have a pretty good pf program, including tactical traniing, something we dont get here at fleming.

my girlfriend did Police FOundations at Humber...
she went through the same thing you seem to be doing, at the end of her program's last session..

she ended up enrolling at Ryerson in Justice Studies...they apparently will give ya a year advanced standing in the degree program, which is pretty decent..

I dunno if this helps or anything, but I guess the moral of my story is when all else fails, go back to school?

You know, I can do well in this field and advance in it to a point where I can be happy.

Recently, things have been going kinda so-so. I sorta messed things up with this one girl I really liked and I'm still kicking myself for that in a way. But time heals all wounds and life moves on. I am attendng a job fair, armed with alot of resumes and I am going to find a job and do damn well at it!

Since I was born, everyone has always told me they think I am going to make it big in life, I'm damn determined to show them that they are right! I got a life and I'm finally going to start living it to the fullest.

Thats because we have a tactical training unit in the basement of the Justice Wing and next year i do believe we're gonna have a fully operational cop shop in there too for Durham Regional Police. Considering there is about 50-100 Cops in there every day as it is lol Also Zach stick with it graduate because its a start and a degree on ur resume, its a body in the door rather than just a foot.
