how old and crappy is your computer
#13
3.0GHz P4 with HT
1.5GB of RAM (I was gonna go with 2GB, but I've talked to a ton of people that say at this point it really doesn't do much... my PC is upgradeable to 4GB of ram... Not sure why you'd need that)
Radeon 800XL 256MB GDDR3
500 Watt Antec Power Supply
9 in 1 media card reader built in.
160GB on board harddrive and 100GB external harddrive.
DVD/CD Writer
My old PC wasn't too bad either, but it definitely couldn't do much other then surf the net and play a few simple games.

had a celeron 400 which i upgraded as i went, 32mb crappy video card, sound card with optical out, 288mb pc100 memory and a 60gb harddrive. Eventually got into the real world of pc's, built a new one after 10 years.
Then 6mo later built another and it's something like this:
athlon 64 3200+ Venice (OC'd to about 2.55ghz)
DFI LANPARTY NF4 SLI-DR
BFG GEFORCE 6600 GT PCI-E
1024 pc3200 kings hyper-x
480gb Harddrive space (3hdd's)
Thermalright xp-120 (and some 120mm fan)
OCZ 520w Modstream
chaintech AV-710 soundcard
Benq FP737s and 55" Sony HDTV
Antec Plusview 1000 Case
5 case fans
Zalman 6fan speed controller
plus a dvdrw, dvdrom and of course a floppy
Running WinXPP SP2
And well thats what i can think of...

I have two:
Dual Pentium Pro 200's
128mb EDO ram
3 gig HD
S3 ViRGE Vid Card
And:
1700+ o/c to 3000+
1 gig Corsair Platinum PC3200LL
ATI 9800 Pro 128mb
Seagate 7200rpm 80 gig
Seagate 7200rpm 250 gig SATA
Sometimes I like the crappy one better since nothing is ever wrong with it except that it runs a touch slow with multiple apps.
