How Many Songs/GB/CD's Ya'll got laying around?
Myself personally have..... or had (Comp Crashed and hard drive quit..) 60+GB Of just LEGAL music, I hate morphues quality music... and I find you lose at lot less quality ripping cd's on your comp personally.. I live in saskatchewan and we have almost nothing for good stations.... And if your just cruising on a perfect night you need thoose crystal clear cd's.... (not even sirius will cut it)

Approximatly 17GB myself
I can get way more from a guy that has nearly 200GB/32,000 Songs of almost any genear. He has ripped them all from CD's at high bit rate, then sells the files at $0.10 each.
I have a USB port on my deck and use it a lot. Right now using a SD card in a USB adapter. Haven't had a chance to see if the external laptop drive would work. Anything I do use has to work completly off of the USB port only, don't want something that also needs to be plugged into the 12v cigerette socket. Too many wires for my taste.

currenlty about 78.7GB for about 13,000 songs. But i just had some issues recently and began putting them onto computer again. Stupid failed harddrives caused all sorts of issue,s and recovering didn't go very smoothly at all, so i've essentially given up.
I now store this and important stuff on a networked drive running in a mirror array. Feel a bit safer anyways.

what i did to protect my investment was. I had a POS computer lieing around so I decided to network it put a new HD in it and drop all my audio files on it and my comp... So if 2 harddrives fail Im gonna go to the the manufactor and ask for an ITUNES list at $1 a song ohh wait they removed the DRM its $1.20 now anywhoot, just my backup security cause it really does take ages to Rip all my CD's back onto a comp I've just started again 20G's woot woot.. Ima go hire my grandma x.X ehehe.....
