Holy Crap we are going to DIE, in Edmonton!

so....when i left for work it was nice out - threw on a set of shorts, tshirt and some flipflop's, hopped in the jeep and off i go. Partways to work it starts to rain, really slow, but big rain drops. Get a lil further, the road i need is closed (groat) so i gotta veer off and hit the whitemud. On my way to the whitemud, it starts hailing out. Marble sized hail or so. There's a girl standing on the corner, walking wherever she's going, try'n to cover her face and hands from the hail. If i knew i wasn't already half lat for work i woulda picked her up and given her a ride to wherever it was she was going. I felt bad for her that she was standing out it that stuff. Poor Girl! Anyways, went on driving, rain got worse along with the wind. Finally got on the whitemud and people figure they'll just stop wherever they are. Some people i stopped under overpass's (i was a lil worried, thought maybe they knew something i didn't). Then people just started stopping anywhere, and you could basically only drive in the middle lane cause people double triped and quadruple parked on both sides of the roads, cause they're dumb.
I followed an old couple in an older convertible. They shoulda pulled off under an overpass, i felt bad for them too, but the fact that i couldn't really see them made me feel a bit better. Going accross the bridge over the river on the whitemud was rediculous. At this point the hale was louder than my stereo just about (23 out of 25 on my alpine deck). I was now worried bout my vehicle being ok and not being dented. Road continue'd like that, people throwing good wakes and waves of water as they drove. As i got nearer work it got a lil better and at one point it was blue sky. But then i got to work and it got uglier again, i got the closest parking spot to the building and to the door i need to get in. It was about 20 feet to get outta my jeep and under somewhat of an ovehang to shield me from things. then about 40 ft along the wall to the doors. In that total of 60 ft, i got soaked, it was rediculous.
Now all i wanna know is if my jeep is ok or not. I was try'n to make sure there were no small dents (i dunno what it takes to dent a vehicle. I tried to look thru the winshield, but the rain coming down blocked my view . Oh well, now i'm safe, at work doh!
