biggest hole saw I've ever used is 4 3/4 inch.... pain in the ****.

HD sells hole saws up to 6" I believe. Also, check out Princess Auto. They sell an adjustable hole saw that does up to about 6" for $4.99. I have one and it kicks major kiester. The thing goes through 3/4" MDF like a thermally charged kitchen utensil through some kind of semi-solid dairy .
