Thank you every one. actually i graduated ahead of time... my teachers noticed i was not doing well in math... so they called me in for a meeting and asked me why i was not doing well.

one. countless trips down south
two. i would rather work then read a text book
three. i had enough credits and all of my 30 level courses. so why bother.

so i graduated with out my math applied 30, but if it turn's out i need it later on in life then i will go back and upgrade. no i don't havea problem with math. i'm actually quite a wiz at it, but missing so many classes just did not help me.

If you want to take any secondary schooling that requires more brain then brawn you'll need your math 30's so you should've just bit the bullet and got them finished and out of the way instead of screwing yourself over later in life.

I never really understood the importance of highschool, I graduated with a load of drunks and stoners who basically got mercy passed through 1/2 their courses... the real meaning comes when you head to University and you see all those kids who are used to getting everything handed to them or just barely making it... watch them drop like flies or transfer to Arts & Science

I think Chunk wants to dive directly into the workforce so he's not too concerned about university. Although, you will be working for the next 50 years of your life, so whats a few more months in school?

So now that you've got the required number of credits, chose to grad early, you are now leaving school? You won't finish out the year and go through the grad ceremonies and all that with your friends?

I guess you're different than me, but I quite enjoyed high school. In fact I went back for another year just to **** around and take fun courses like 2 Auto Shops, Woodworking, 2 Electronics and 2 more drafting. And I certainly wouldn't have missed any of the grad stuff that comes in June. I suppose if you really don't care, you really don't care but it only comes once. Once it's gone, it's gone.

Thumbs up

Congrats Chunk...

Don't get in too big a sweat about the math thing, if you have a head for business you can do much better than some people who have several letters after their names.....it's been done before....

as i posted above. i already have a job and they WILL pay for my college. every thing is paid for. so i am not in any trouble thier.

if you guys did not read i am apprenticing as a mehcanic at a local ford dealership.

also math is not needed at that level for my job. if i do need it later on.. which i most likly won't i can go back and upgrade.

thier are acouple reasons why i choose to finsih early. i have had a rough time all through my school years... K-12. grade 6 i was away from my family... i was living with people who a barly knew, becasue of behaviour problems i was forced to live thier. 3 and 4 i lived in edmontojn going to school thier. only got to see my mom on the weekends. then after all that BS i have never been liked by most of my class mates. they always judged me. every thing i did was ridiculed.

one of the main reasons why i keep so quite when around strangers... i'm scared if i talk they will judge me for what i say. college will be tough for me... becasue i don't know when to speak up...

sorry for the life story

Congrats Tyler.

I understand some of where you are coming from. I couldn't wait to get out of school, and into the real world myself. But then, the real world for me at that time was audio related.

Chase what you love.
