Or maybe he's trying to get it off his computer in case it has to go in for repair. Hmmm....

I believe Futureshop has a sale on 100 DVD stacks. That should get you started anyways.

6 dvds worth but thats beside the point!

I'm trying to back up all fo my college pictures onto dvd, as well as games and other things. We hav about 150 dvd-rs here, I just need a decent burning program. I never tried making a data dvd before.

Yah Zach in response to your opening post ... I use Nero 6 Ultra

Making Data DVD's is pretty much the same as makin a Data CD R. Windows Xp usually has their own burning program where u just drag the files to the dvd drive with the dvd blank in there of course and usually works. I haven't tried it that way however I stick to using nero.

How can **** lead to virus's if you only download movies? I can see it as being #1 for spyware but not virus's.

lol know what I did? I downloaded a Zombie which is a program that kind of controls your compter into doing a dos attack on a website. So if like 20000 people downloaded the same file and the guy who has control decides he wants us all to attack cnn.com then there would be 20000 people attacking cnn.com without most of us knowing. It's called a DDOS Attack.

God I am stupid!

Anyone can attach a virus to a video file the same as any spyware being attached.

And yeah that is a rather retarded idea.
