Sorry, old post, but I just thought I might add, you're problem has nothing to do with GM Engineering.
If you wanna talk about GM Engineering, let's talk about why GM put the starter BEHIND the intake manifold on the 2.3L Quad 4 and why we have to remove the intake to get at it. THAT's engineering...your problem is with your warranty/GM satisfaction department, which most of the time, is worse than the engineers because they simply don't care.

No problem isn't with warranty, it was with Gm acknowleding there was a problem or design flaw and not doing something about it, needless to say it's fixed so not concerned about it. Now as for satisfaction department I agree they don't give a ****, we filed with better business twice and they said there's nothing there gonna do about it,for that reason alone is why my next car won't be a gm.

When I brought it in to get a few things checked, the mechanic working on previously was screwing around with a few ideas of how to fix it, so basically he took couple extra hours and did some adjustments to the sub frame and poof everything is back to 100% everything is all aligned granted my steering wheel is abit off but yeah no more rudding/grinding. However!lol just recently my started is now begining to stick abit when I first turn the car on more so when realy cold it sticks for a 2nd or 2...

I had a 1984 Chevy S10 with 680,000 Kilometers. I dont think GM sucks at all, yeah they do make crap on occasion, doesn't everybody at some point in time? My S10 ran awesome, it really did, the body was horrid though, but mechanically it still ran and drove very nicely, I was just sick of driving a rust bucket so I sold it for $1200 and bought my Mazda. The guy I sold it to still uses it today, now it has 730K on it. Still runs great. NOw its REALLY rusty, but oh well. not bad eh? obviously the engine had to be rebuild, but that was all, everything else was stock, like tranny, rear axle, springs, interior... yada yada yada....

yeah, I've heard of some REALLY bad stories about Dodge, but even so, I honestly think I'd be a fool to write any perticular Auto manufacturer off, except maybe for Lada. I've heard more bad stories regarding GM's Calivier, then I did any other can they've made. I think they try so hard to make it such a cheap car to buy, that they skip over a lot of the quality control factors. every cavilier I've ever seen was quite literally a heap of junk, with numerous problems, but nothing about any other GM vehicles.
