ya that site is as biased as micheal moores films are
i read into the first bit that justifys the patriat bill by saying that the fbi was pushing for it before this happened
give me a break
im sure they would also like to shoot bad guys on the spot no questions asked

now ask yourself the only reason the bill passed was from fear created by 9/11

this bill for a country that calls themselves a free democratic society is dead wrong

i thought it was a great movie, i left feeling more aware and kind of ignorant in my previous views. just keep in mind that it is the view of extreme opposition, there was too much bashing and making fun of to take moores views very seriously though. but there definitely were some very interesting facts.

Only reason a guy like MM was compelled to make this film had everything to do with the complete lack of any discussion/reporting/questioning in the mainstream media about the Bush administration's possible motives.

You really gotta ask yourself...why didn't the media provide a balanced objective viewpoint over the (almost) 3 years since 9/11. If they had, there would be no need for this movie!

It's about accountability, and the Bush admin was not held to account on anything which may have caused concern with the sheep like American HeartLand and Bible Belt.

Funny also how most of the dissenting voices in the States are coming from very educated, and worldly areas, mainly the New York& New Jersey & Boston areas and California, whereas the average Joe areas like the MidWest, South and HeartLand are completely pro-Bush and unquestioning, completely brainwashed sheep like follow the President and support the troops come hell or highwater type attitude. Wonder where they got that attitude from?

huh? just the opposite there dude. aside from uni type liberal institutes (what you mentioned) the most hardcore supporters of moore and anti-bush types are hardcore uneducated pot smoking hippy types. students, homeless, idiots so to speak. where ironically their main arguments to support everything moore says is "it's a media coverup" and "moore speaks the truth" while never providing a single fact or link to back up any one particular claim they make...

sooo, please provide ANY factual basis for your claim that the media covered up something. once you have something listed, we can discuss it too see if it was a pro-bush conspiricy... on that note, what

oh ya, repub supporters tend to be sucessful educated middle class types... fer sure not sheep. as conservative beliefs in general hold true to the ideal of less government involvment of an individuals everyday life.

Listen to yourself: Less government involvement??? Not this Republican Administration!

A few words for ya: Department of Homeland Security. Also known as "The gradual dissolving of civil liberties". Yes, that's less involvement....suuuure.

The uneducated pot smoking types most often tend to be idealistic young students ...hmmm uneducated students???? Isn't that, like an oxymoron?

How about YOU come up with ANY hard facts that most of the anti-Bush types are as uneducated as you stated....A lot of them are minorities coping in a system set up to serve the status quo, but that does't make them any less educated than middle State America where Bush draws a lot of support from gun lovin', farmin', Bible thumpin' good ol' boys!

And I never said the people who are questioning this admistration are MM supporters. Re-read my post! Wow, you sure draw some fast conclusions.

Since you seem to have the clear need for me to spell out my point once more here it is: This movie would never have been made if it hadn't been for the right wing rah-rah let's attack type coverage we saw from ALL the US networks. And since your memory needs refreshing, all those who dared question this administration were branded to be unpatriotic Americans. Wait, I think it was said: "If you're not with us, you're with the terrorists". Doesn't sound like there is much room for discussion there....and thus there was none. Remember the Dixie Chicks and others whose songs were taken off the air.

Point being, yes the movie is biased but so was the reporting that preceeded it. Even Steven.

Sure most Republicans tend to be white professionals, anyone knows that. But regardless of that fact, many very educated groups of people in the Eastern Seaboard and almost all of Hollywood were and are still raising some questions about what went on behind the scenes prior to the decision to go to war in Iraq. And I think those questions need to be raised because government MUST be accountable to the electorate.

And Bush counts among his core of support from the mostly white and many notches down the academic scale middle American States, and who can forget good 'ol Texas...most of the reasoning I've heard from people I've met from over there could be easily paraphrased from CNN nightly news.

And by the way, my facts come from an interview I saw with the former Prime Minister of Canada, Kim Campbell, who now resides in New York and works with a significant global organization exclusively made up of former heads of State from around the world. I think she has her ear to the ground maybe just a tad more than you when it comes to where the dissenting intellectual types reside.

And do you really think the homeless have a burning desire to see MM's movie when they are too busy worrying about where to sleep for the night or get their next meal. And you call them idiots! You obviously know anything about the demographics of the typical North American street population which is riddled by mental illness. Sadly, our systems largely ignore this serious problem. We could do a lot better for many of them.

You appear to be the one in need of the reality check there Buddy

Here is a link to the interview, I can't find the transcript on the site but since you are so interested in the facts why don't you get them sent to you or ask them to re-run the program as they have done on other occasions for various interviews.
