Fahrenheit 911

I just saw it last night, finally. All I can say is how did Bush become the president in the first place. I know that his cousin at Fox didn't cause him to win, or his campaign manager who was in charge of the ballots . Or his brother who was Governor of Florida, the contested state. But when you take all that happened and analyse it, there definately should have been a review done if not a full recount in the least.
As for other parts, it's not really anything I didn't already know. The Iraqi children was a little disturbing. But if that's what it takes to show that the innocent suffer in war then so be it. I found it deeply disturbing the part about Bush sitting reading to children while the terrorist attacks happened, I know if I were president I would have excused myself, and took care of business. Another thing I would have done, is froze all Saudi assets in America, sent the Bin Laden's home on a plane and have them shot down "accidently" by a couple F16's. I don't think Bish is evil or bad, this film reconfirms for me what I already beleived, that he is a puppet just trying to get by.

I have not watched this film yet, but while I am glad that "the other side" is being shown, I have to admit that Mr. Moore's documentaries are not "cinema verite".
I just re-watched Bowling for Columbine last weekend and there are a lot of loose ends in his facts.
While I do agree with many of Michael Moore's views, especially with his distain for Bush and the post-NAFTA North American economy -- I wish I could find some totally unbiased information on these subjects.

I also wish there was moer unbiased information on the subject. I saw the movie last night, and it was quite good. Some pretty grusome pictures indeed, like the burning and dragging behind the car of a soldior's body.. The children were also disturbing. The Bin laden's should have never been sent home, and the thing with bushes father representing the oil company over there? That had to be sneidn gthe wrong image to the saudi's. All in all, I'm glad I saw it, and would see it again.

THere was a thing on dateline or something tonight, dad was watching it.. It was an interview with osama's half brother. He said the claims in the movie that the bin laden family being given special treatment while the us airways were closed down were completely false.. What do you guys think?
